Ceramics

For anyone who works with art, it’s important to have a profound understanding of the concept of form. Through the work in the ceramic workshop of Engelsholm, the every day life becomes a reactor of intensity, energy, conceptual thinking and form.
The ceramic workshop offers a broad variation of modules concerning design, pottery or craft.

Engelsholm offers 16 weekly lessons. Its our belief that understanding form is fundamental to all who wants to work and play with art.

Throughout the course, students will be presented with ceramic in both theory and practice. By daily use of sketchbook, work presentations, and constructive criticism, you will learn how to visualize your ideas, describe them to others and bring them to life.

• Work process.

• Technical skills. (e.g. slap building, coiling, throwing)
