Which tunes I bring in depends on the instrumentation in the ensemble. We can cover everything from small group, trio/quartet/quintet to large ensemble, also with odd or a-typical instrumentations.

The Poetry of the Earth project is with vocalists; the other bands are instrumental.

The Ternion albums have no chord instrument; the quartet and quartet+1 do. The Double Life albums are for string quartet + jazz quartet/quintet. Several compositions from the various groups already have been arranged for large ensembles but never recorded. Stylistically the music is modern contemporary jazz. Compositionally there are influences from both classical, Scandinavian and Brazilian music traditions, while the performance approach to the music is rooted in the tradition of jazz.

I value the knowledge and relation to the history of jazz music highly and bring with me the direct influence and experience from having lived and worked 14 years in New York.
